Writers are readers (if not, they sure should be). So I thought it worth it to pass on this slide show of what one reader sees as books definitely worth your time. Interestingly, the headline I quoted above specifies novels, but some of the recommendations by author Jacquelyn Mitchard were collections of short stories, including one by Stephen King. I've read a number of the books listed, but missed many others. Perhaps it's time for a visit to the library.
