I was a busy fellow at last weekend's Wordstock Festival--first, my Killer First Page workshop (sold out, had a great time), presentation of my novel, The Vampire Kitty-cat Chronicles (not many people, but one woman bought the last copy), and a panel on Author as Blogger.
The panel was fun, and I met some super people. Let me introduce them to you:
Sarah Gundell, creator of the Novel Novice blog, moderated the panel. A dynamic young woman, for sure.
Gilion Dumas, creator of the Rose City Reader blog, is a lawyer who reviews books. Very sharp woman, and I really like her writing on her blog.
And Stephanie Guerra, a young mother, teacher, and author of a YA novel, Torn. Her focus is on serving young people, and her dedication and talent showed.
It was good luck on my part to be with such talented people. I hope I can take part again next year. Wish me luck.
